I’m just in a singing mood the past couple days. Quitting one’s job will do that 
There is now light at the end of the tunnel. Although I have had a couple panic stricken “Holy crap what have I done” moments, but luckily I have my wonderful hubby to tell me that everything will be OK.
Good for you! My DH decided to leave his sucky job at Blowe’s (the blue home improvement store) because the stress was getting to him. We have had to deal with some financial uncertainty, but the stress of that is far less than what he put up with. He’s much happier now. As they say, do what you love and the money will follow.
