We went to Disneyland on Friday with some friends of ours, Michael and Christine. It was for Michael’s birthday. Christine had never been to a Disneyland park before, so it was fun for me, as the seasoned Disneyland-goer, to show her the ropes. When they built California Adventure, they also built this promenade-type thing called Downtown Disney, with restaurants and shops, so at dinner time, we went to find a place where the vegans in our party could eat (nary a veggie burger to be found in the park, which kind of surprised me). To our surprise, there was also a BAR in Downtown Disney. So we knocked back a couple, ate, then skipped back into the park. Disneyland while slightly hammered is fun
