Spain has legalized same sex marriage.

Our neighbors have passed legislation which legalizes same sex marriage.
At least somebody, somewhere, has the good sense we here in America seem to lack.
Some guy trying to pick me up at the Cabana Club (we were there for this charity thing that my brother in law Jeremy invited us to because he had some art showing) actually said to me:
"What’s cookin’, good lookin’?"
I don’t think we hear this line enough anymore. It’s lost its place in the vernacular and I think we need to bring it back.
I simply must try one or all of these. Never mind that they are $3.25 each. *Ahem*.
I believe that there is a quick jaunt to Beverly Hills in my future sometime this week. I mean, really, Orange, Chocolate Coconut and GINGER LEMON?? Heaven!
From imdb:
Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar has moved on from slaying vampires to becoming the Queen of Hearts in a new movie adaptation of Alice In Wonderland. The actress will star in Alice, a big-screen adaptation of a video game based on Lewis Carroll’s classic tales, according to the trade publication Hollywood Reporter. The popular electronic game, American McGee’s Alice,
has the famous fictional character returning to Wonderland as a
troubled adult, seeking to confront her childhood fears and cope with
her parents’ tragic death.
I am SO EXCITED about this. I love American McGee’s Alice - we actually went to the launch party for it on Halloween about five years ago. I dressed up as Pris from Blade Runner and Cooper was Tank Girl(!)
The voices of BOTH Tigger and Piglet died over the weekend. TTFN, fellas.
Also, Hawk, you’ll appreciate this - Paul Winchell (Tigger) was also the voice of Gargamel on The Smurfs.
This is one of the most awesomely awesome things I’ve seen on the web in a long time. My favorite thing is the look on the rabbit’s face.
So I’ve been looking forward all week to getting a massage today. I’d never been to this place before, but LA CitySearch ranked this place #2 of the best places to get a massage. LIARS! It was the worst massage I’ve ever had. I swear they just pulled this woman in off the street and asked her to rub me for an hour. No technique. Her idea of “reflexology” was wiggling my toes and squeezing my feet for five minutes. It was pathetic. And for $120 I was really expecting much better.
I’m in dire need of some stress relief, and I was really counting on today to help me relax. Getting pregnant isn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be, I’m sure in large part it’s because I’m stressed out. So what I was hoping would help me has just added to my bad mood. I can’t win.
Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. Not much to write about - I’ve just been making candles, working, cleaning the house, etc. etc. Went to a great yoga class on Monday night and am now, two days later, still paying for it. I can barely lift my arms.
Hmm. That’s really about it. Sorry I’m not more exciting today!
