Japanese scientists have gotten the first photographs of the elusive giant squid in the wild! Awesome! I am obsessed with the giant squid after seeing a Discovery Channel special about them a few years ago. This one is 8 meters (26 feet) long. I wouldn’t want to be out for a refreshing swim and run into this dude.
