This lovely pink bunny is an art installation which has been placed on a hillside in Italy. It will stay there for 20 years.
Now, I’m all for giant pink bunnies, don’t get me wrong. I would like one placed atop a hillside in L.A. to climb and lounge upon. However. I don’t really think this is art. It’s just a Big. Pink. Bunny.
And why does it look like it has a spinal injury or something?
this is awesome…I saw this all over the net yesterday. There was one article that was talking with the artist; he said that they wanted hikers and such to come up to it, wander around, lay on it, enjoy it…but that only people with the bird’s-eye view would really be able to see just how badly the bunny’s neck is broken, and that his organs have all been exploded out the left side of his body. There were some shots were you could see the bunny’s stomach and intestines hanging out the side, and the look on the bunny’s face is just priceless–as if he fell from a plane and spalltered on teh top of this hill…Gruesome!! I love it!
Gross! I totally hadn’t noticed that. Now, is THAT the part that’s supposed to be art? Bunny intestines?
