Sorry for the lack of posts this week. Not much going on. Same old, same old - work, school, etc.
I’ve been ditched for six days by my loving hubby. He is off with our friend Tony on a road trip on his motorcycle. They were going to head up to Northern California but because of bad weather decided to head to Death Valley instead. He’s been text messaging me every few hours to let me know that he’s OK. I am pretty nervous about the fact that he’s off on the bike for almost a week. He’ll be back on Wednesday but I miss him like crazy already.
I had a great girly day today with Kristen (my best bud and Tony’s girlfriend). We had manicures and pedicures, stopped and had a glass of wine at a restaurant on Main Street in Santa Monica, then went to Burke Williams (I had the “Savannah’s Surrender” body treatment). It was sooooo nice. Spent a while in the steam room and jacuzzi, then we went out to dinner with our friend Sherri.
Tomorrow I’ll spend the day doing laundry, and I think I’ll make myself a nice dinner (something with lots of meat in it that I can’t make when Hawk is home - beef stroganoff or something), and hang with the dogs.
