Our family gathering is now complete that we have picked up my brother from the airport, and now we commence with the preparations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I just made Peppermint Ice Cream (yum!) that will be served with profiteroles and hot fudge sauce (double yum!) on Christmas Eve. We are going to decorate the Christmas tree in a little while, and this afternoon I am going to go have coffee with my old friend that I just got back in contact with. I spoke with her on the phone a little while ago and it was like no time had passed at all. Very cool.
