A Very Southern California Christmas

This morning, after Hawk and I opened presents (new hat! new purse!), we decided to hop in the convertible and go for a drive up the coast. It is an absolutely beautiful day here, breezy and mild, not a cloud in the sky.

First, we drove up over Malibu Canyon.

Then we hit PCH and stopped at the Chart House for lunch. On the menu? Mimosas and crab legs. Aww yea.

It was so much fun. We were having such a good time together, and lunch was delicious. At one point I turned to Hawk and said “I’m having one of those rare moments where I am perfectly happy”.

After lunch we took a walk down on the beach.

I wish everyone a sunshine-y, sandy-footed, love-filled Christmas Day.

It was a beautiful day today. I really wish we could have done something more exciting than hang in a stuffy, hot, crowded house with the inlaws. So your day sounds just heavenly!! Merry Merry & HoHoHo!!

    Sounds blissful.
Sitting here curled up in blankets, cursing the cold and ice, I must admit to a good bit of jealousy for beaches and walking around with just a shirt and scarf. :) You are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
