I had a dream last night in which John McCain told me he was looking forward to becoming the King of Afghanistan. I asked him if he was totally nuts and he got all huffy with me.
That story line is reminiscent of a Rudyard Kipling story, made into a movie, called “The Man Who Would Be King”. There, the itinerant ex-British soldier, accompanied by his equally neer-do-well buddy, became king of “Kafirstan”. They screwed everything up, but had some laughs.
