My Winter – “You Capture”

This post is for the “You Capture” Challenge at I Should Be Folding Laundry. The theme this week is “My Winter”, to give all the participants across the country a chance to share what winter is like for them.

I live in Los Angeles and our winters are usually pretty balmy. Case in point, these pictures are from Christmas morning. We drove up the Pacific Coast Highway to a restaurant called the Chart House, had surf and turf for lunch, and then took a walk on the beach.

This is the part where I yack on and on about jealousy and envy and such.

These photos are absolutely gorgeous, and not just because of the weather. Great captures!

  4. I love it! While it’s not that warm here – we hardly get snow!

  5. Kirsten says:

I love your winter! But I love seasons, so I will just be thankful that if I ever get sick of a snowy, cold winter there are places as beautiful as the pacific coast highway to visit and enjoy.

I would be lying if I told you that I wasn’t jealous of your winter. Those pictures are simply beautiful. The picture of you holding your daughter is adorable. I like how you carry her on your hip. I always carry Dominic that way, but Anthony didn’t want to be held like that. It is a very sweet pose!

  8. That is so funny to have a warm winter, I can’t imagine what that would be like. I do kind of like to have the real obvious seasons though. I was pleased to have snow this year sometimes winter here just feels like a long rainy grey autumn! It looks like a fun Christmas day though.
